Editorial standard
How the Utah County Dentist Guide researches offices.
Our goal is to create a useful, auditable shortlist. We separate facts a reader can verify from opinions and claims that require professional judgment.
Selection and ordering
The first research set includes offices in Provo, Orem, and American Fork with accessible official sources. It is not exhaustive. The default order is alphabetical, and filters only remove offices that do not match the selected city or publicly listed service.
Source hierarchy
- Official practice website: provider names, services, hours, location, and office features.
- Google Maps: directions and current listing photography, shown only through compliant links or the Places API.
- Utah DOPL: the authoritative place for a reader to verify a professional license or disciplinary record.
- Practice confirmation: corrections and offers require a documented source and do not change directory order.
What we do not claim
We do not independently verify treatment quality, diagnose conditions, determine whether a procedure is appropriate, or guarantee that a listed service is currently available. Readers should confirm licensure through Utah’s license lookup and ask the office about provider, price, insurance, and treatment scope.
Freshness and corrections
Each profile shows its checked date and links to the evidence used. Material corrections can be sent to shidemb@gmail.com. Research pages are reviewed when a correction is received and on a recurring coverage schedule.
